Death Returns has been called “an interesting look at the demise of a tragic man,” and its stars called out with one reviewer observing, “Laura Mae Stacey did an outstanding job as Death and played it with relish… Paul Gregory Clark was perfect.”
Project Details
Death Returns was filmed in December of 2020 in Asheville and Mars Hill, NC, and completed in early 2021. The project was an official selection to multiple festivals with a public release date of October 30, 2021. The short film stars Laura Mae Stacey and Paul Gregory Clark, and features special visual effects by Ted Thomas with original music by Edward Grant.
